Service Description

This is the blended online version. You will need to complete 5-7 hours of E-Learning work first. I will send you a voucher and code to do this. Then I will go over the curriculum with you and your work colleagues, tailoring it to your workplace and experiences. This is over 2 x 2.5 hours zoom sessions. A week apart to allow you to take it in. Then as a bonus I will do a group 30 minute Mentoring session with you another 2 weeks later to see how you are going and answer any of your questions. Training has an average of 20% uptake of learning.. However combined with follow up Mentoring and Coaching it goes up to 80%!! You will learn how to assist an adult who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence-based action plan. This course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems, researchers and professionals.
