How to tell if you are really OK!


Hi friends,

A couple of weeks ago it was RUOK day. Did you notice the messages?

Did you do anything?

First to check in with yourself honestly, then someone you are concerned about.

Do you know if you are heading for burnout?

Heading for an illness, disease, or cancer?


I discussed the signs in recent blogs. Basically, you will or ‘a friend’ will be constantly fatigued. Not sleeping, drinking, eating, communicating, thinking or performing well!!


Another guide is to set aside time in your happy/calm, place/space to take some slow deep breaths and rate yourself on how you think you are going, then have your partner or close friend rate you against the WHO (World Health Organisations) Domains of Health.


Out of 10 rate yourself or have your friend. How are you going with –


PHYSICAL HEALTH – Sleep? Diet? Exercise? (O-10)?


MENTAL HEALTH – How is your mood generally? (O-10)?


EMOTIONAL HEALTH – How comfortable are you expressing all the emotions? And are you aware of them coming up and able to let them pass through you without reacting to them generally? (O-10)?


SOCIAL HEALTH – Are you getting enough social interaction, friendship to meet your needs? (O-10)?


SPIRITUAL HEALTH – Connecting with a higher source. Not just God and a church, but connecting to your spirit and nature? (O-10)?


We should be aiming for an 8 every day, says a popular UK Psychologist.

Then if less, he asks us what is one thing we can do to raise that by one or more…
